1. Health & safety. The event operates under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. Follow all reasonable directions from event officials and area coordinators at all times. Their decisions are final.
2. Operators. Machines and vehicles may only be moved or operated by competent people aged 16 or over. No person may operate any machine while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
3. Moving on site. Walking pace is the maximum speed anywhere inside the event grounds. Machines move only at approved times, along marshalled routes, and enter and leave the arena by the allocated gates. Park exactly as directed. Tractors will be parked side-on to any slope.
4. Passengers. No passengers on any machine unless it is designed to carry them. No standing on drawbars.
5. Fuel & fire. Fuel must be kept in approved safety containers, maximum 10 L petrol or 20 L diesel per container. Refuelling support will be available on site for larger machines. Every stationary engine display must keep a powder or foam fire extinguisher at hand.
6. Site rules. No dogs or livestock. No BYO alcohol. Food and drink are available on site. The event is smoke-free.
7. Camping. On-site camping is for registered entrants, stallholders and volunteers only: self-contained vehicles, in the designated camping area, booked in advance.
8. Security & risk. Site security operates through set-up, event days and pack-down, but your machines, vehicles and belongings remain your responsibility at all times, so we recommend your own insurance cover.
9. Entries. Entry details must be accurate. The event may decline, cap or reallocate entries to manage space and safety. Category caps and waitlists may apply.
10. Privacy & media. Your details are held by Central Otago Tracks & Wheels and used only to organise the event. Photography and video captured at the event may be used to promote it.
